Why Now is a Good Time for a Pool Enclosure

Due to the COVID-19 virus and the mandates that have followed, many of you are spending more time at home than you may have in many years.  Some of you feel like caged tigers who just want your freedom to roam returned to you.  Some of you are enjoying the break from the hectic pace at which your daily life runs.  Even if you are still going to work every day, you probably are going to fewer places than usual due to closures.  Regardless of how you feel about your increased time at home, you are probably spending more time there right now!

What can you do during your time at home?  It may simply be spent working from home which we certainly understand.  But, it may mean some downtime for some of you.  If this is the case and you have a swimming pool, then you may be spending some time out there during the day when you would normally be at work.

Now that you have more time to spend in your yard and your pool, you may be realizing that your pool area could use a little TLC.  As it is getting hotter right now, many of you are experiencing an influx of leaves in your pool due to windy days.  Our spring and summer seasons are a mix of weather here in Florida.  One week can hold hot days in the upper 80s, a rainy cool day, and a moderate day with high winds.

This weather can reak havoc on your pool.  Your pool’s chemical balance may be a bit harder to maintain right now due to hot days, as well as rain.  You should check your pool chemistry levels at least a couple times a week during these diverse and quickly changing weather conditions.  It may also be more challenging to keep clean due to leaves from the wind.

One thing that can really help keep your pool clean and reduce the amount of time you have to spend on pool maintenance is having a screened pool enclosure installed.  Our beautiful aluminum-framed pool enclosures resist rust, are sturdy, and well-built and expand your outdoor living space.  Not only do they help keep your pool free of leaves, but they also help keep insects out, making your time outside more enjoyable – no mosquito bites or bee stings!

If you are ready to spend less time on pool maintenance and more time just enjoying your pool, especially with increased time at home, then it is time to call us at Tripod Aluminum.  We specialize in screened enclosures of all sizes from a small balcony to a large pool enclosure.  We are located in Melbourne and look forward to serving you!
